My daughter Juhi is passionate about piano and has become an advanced piano player under Priyals guidance. Priyal is dedicated and committed to teaching music to everyone. Priyal’s combined patience and experience make her a highly qualified teacher, and her love for music is contagious and inspiring. An accomplished classical pianist, she is able to articulate her skills and knowledge in a way that even a young child can understand, making each lesson both fun and increasingly challenging so that students can truly master fundamentals as they progress. She originally taught our oldest daughter, and when our youngest was old enough to start lessons we knew we didn’t want to look anywhere else. Priyal is very patient and kind with children, and works to develop a good rapport with them so that they look forward to each lesson with her. She is very reliable and stays in communication with us regarding scheduling and progress. She is truly a wonderful teacher.

My 6 (almost 7) year old has been taking lessons with Priyal at Svara Music Studio for several months now after moving on from his first studio. We see a world a difference in his ability and in his passion for playing. Now, he won’t walk past the piano without playing through all of his songs. He is so proud of himself! Priyal has helped find specific songs and music books that she knows will be right for him. Everything feels personally curated to help build his enthusiasm. She is very kind and gentle, but pushes him just the right amount. I also greatly appreciate how reliable and flexible Priyal is in terms of scheduling lessons, and rescheduling when we are sick or out of town.

Our kids, 10 and 8 have been learning piano at Svara music studio a little over two years now and they love it. Priyal is an excellent instructor who works very patiently with both of them. She recognizes their individual strengths and weaknesses and encourages them to use it to their advantage. They look forward to their lessons with her and practice regularly. They have even composed their own little pieces of music with her help. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience at Svara music studio and could not have chosen a better piano teacher than Priyal for our kids.

You don’t know how much of a change I am seeing in Vivan after he has started piano. Every night before going to bed, he asks me, “Dad can we go upstairs so that I can show you how I play?”

I’ve been taking piano lessons from Priyal for about a year, and I highly recommend her! I took lessons when I was younger but quit as a child. I’ve been wanting to get back into playing, and Priyal has been great at easing me back in. I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made so far. She’s awesome!

I started piano as an adult at the age of 30 and I wasn’t sure how I would take to it! One year in and I can read music, play easy versions of songs I’ve loved without much difficulty and I have a new hobby I’m passionate about and want to pursue more of. Priyal has been patient and has been great at explaining the basics of music reading and playing in a very easy manner. She has a great sense of humor too so at the end of a long work day, my weekly lessons are something I always look forward to.

I’m not musically inclined, but I set a goal earlier this year to learn something new, and chose piano lessons. I was a bit nervous, but Priyal was very patient and nice. After several lessons, I’m really enjoying it. While I’ll never be Beethoven, I’m surprised by how quickly I’m picking it up and would recommend her to any adult looking to take on a new skill or hobby.
